today was such a beautiful day. satisfaction and appreciation all around

this has been on my mind a lot lately. why oh why oh why oh why does mankind try so hard to be different from the rest of the world. we look at everything else as if it is something to be understood apart from humanity, and we’re amazed when the natural world reflects an aspect of mankind and vice versa. it’s as if we think we are an entirely different entity from the natural world we live on when we’re not!

it’s so refreshing though
today had been such a beautiful day so far! woke up, got a lil high, went to the mount holyoke art museum for class, drew and wrote about gorgeous landscape art, had lunch, smoked some more with hannah and colin and practiced yoga with em, meditated, danced around to beats antique with hannah, and now we’re chillin doing art. and later tonight i’m going to the meditation center, then playing some music with mclou and the grandy oats. i really dig times like these <3
maaan i am so sick of society telling me, and then me telling my body, what to look like and how to dress. so done with listening to that crap.
on a lighter note - i made the yummiest homemade lentil soup today! sooo goood
